I FELT LIKE A VICTIM TO MY BODY.

Living in NYC at the time, my body was desperately trying to communicate with me but I had no tools or practices to turn to so I distracted myself as best I could (smoking weed, binge drinking on weekends, coffee overload, & enduring long hours at a dead-end job I hated). I figured if I already felt like shit, it didn’t matter how I treated my body so I'd try to override the pain so I could function and live a semi “normal” life.

I visited doctor after doctor, spending thousands of dollars for them to tell me they couldn’t find anything technically “wrong” with me and I felt utterly hopeless and angry that my body was failing me.

Desperate, I began going to yoga classes - I figured, why not try it?  I kept going back and after some time, I noticed I was experiencing a newfound relationship with my body. I was learning how to listen to what it wanted/needed. I felt more connected and whole.

I was healing not just my physical body but my relationship to my Self and as a result, my entire life changed.  I discovered a sense of inner freedom and empowerment that I didn’t know was possible. 

I left my exhausting full-time marketing career and busy life in NYC to move out to the Hamptons, a place I’d always loved, to be in nature and teach yoga part-time. I had forgotten that I could actually design a life that felt joyful.

My whole system started to slow down, and I noticed that the heavy dread I had grown accustomed to feeling each morning was replaced with a feeling of possibility and excitement. I began to actually enjoy my life in a way that I hadn’t since I was a child.

The mind and body are intricately and inextricably connected.  The narrative of our lives is embedded into our cells and your practice is an opportunity to address the patterns in your life via the patterns in your body. I experienced first-hand how in committing to a regular embodiment practice (thus reorganizing and supporting my physiology) I was able to alter my psychology (and of course, vice versa) and my experience of my life drastically changed for the better.

I created the Embodiment Experience because it’s the program I wish I’d had when I felt so disconnected years ago.

HOW IT WORKS

This bundle is intended to be practiced daily for 21 days in order to provide the maximum benefit and transformation.

It is approximately a one hour commitment each day with weekly intentions & reflections offered to anchor & integrate each week.

After the 21 days, you’ll keep the momentum and use what you’ve learned/what worked for you to stay committed to your daily practice moving forward.

Maybe eventually you decide a 10 min yoga practice and 5 min breathwork practice daily is what works best for you….that’s great! You’ll see what you like and then keep going with it (consistency is key).

 
 

ONCE YOU PURCHASE THE VIDEO BUNDLE…

 

You will receive an email with immediate access to the videos in addition to weekly intentions and reflections used to elevate your 21 day experience.

We will be moving through the body systematically from the ground up, using the metaphor of the body as a house (the abode of the spirit).

The bundle is broken down into 3 weeks, each focusing on a specific floor of the house. You explore one floor for a week, then you move up to the next one!

  • WEEK 1: Ground floor (your stability)

  • WEEK 2: Middle floor (your ability)

  • WEEK 3: Top floor (your freedom)

EACH WEEK INCLUDES:

▶ An overview and intention video for the beginning of the week, and a reflection and integration video for the end of the week

  • This course is designed for all levels of yoga practitioners, and modifications are often offered.

    That said, it is recommended to have at least a very basic understanding of the practice (i.e. know what a child’s pose is). If that's not where you are yet, don't worry - there are many free videos online that can offer a basic intro!

  • There are often modifications offered, but ultimately you are responsible for taking care of your body. You can absolutely still do this program but make sure that you have an understanding of what types of movements are you should avoid to prevent further damage!

  • The Embodiment Experience is delivered via an online course platform called Thrive Cart. When you sign up, you'll be sent and email that will prompt you to set a password and join the platform so that you can access the course.

  • Plan to allocate approximately one hour each day to your practices (including breathwork, yoga, and journaling), and be sure to watch the weekly intention & reflection videos to anchor & integrate at the beginning and end of each week.
